Due to the high interest in consulting on campus, Black Wharton Undergraduate Association developed a sub-organization: Black Wharton Consulting (BWC). Starting in 2018, BWC was launched to provide consulting services to minority-owned businesses in Philadelphia. Through these partnerships, it provides a lucrative opportunity for talented students within Black Wharton to apply what they learn in their academic studies and summer internships to local businesses.

Within this program, students conduct semester-long engagements, providing midterm and final presentations and feedback throughout the process. Most importantly, all services are free of charge as the mission is to serve Black-owned businesses, make a positive impact in the Black community, and professionally develop our consultants. Additionally, the Client Development Committee and Consultant Development Committee, the two subcommittees within BW Consulting, allow for our members to attain the resources and skills necessary to be successful consultants.
